1972 MG Roadster

  • 1.8-litre engine

The Appeal

A classic British two-seater sports car, best known in its MGB form, produced from the early 1960s through to 1980. Renowned for its charming design, spirited performance and engaging driving experience, the Roadster became a symbol of affordable open-top motoring. Its lightweight construction, rear-wheel-drive layout and responsive handling made it a favourite among enthusiasts, while its simplicity and parts availability have helped it remain popular with classic car collectors.
The vendor purchased this two-seater British classic last year, along with two other MGs. The plan was to open a classic car hire business from their home in France. Long story short, the subsequent purchase of a village pub put the hire business on hold, leaving this much-loved British classic up for auction.
Maybe you have a holiday home in France? This would make the perfect addition, just in time for the lovely weather ahead.
