An attractive Morgan in very good condition with the dependable 2.0 Rover 16v engine
THE APPEAL
Morgans represent a unique and unparalleled reality in the world of modern cars.
Deeply linked to the traditions of the golden age of the automobile, with their elegant and unique lines and their traditional construction techniques they have brought to this day an almost lost concept of pure sports car, conceived to amuse and entertain the driver and the passenger, making them feel involved in the driving experience and transforming every journey into an unforgettable occasion.
Controlled by the Morgan family for over a hundred years, the Malvern company has for decades been the last bastion of the most authentic artisan tradition, creating cars with a steel frame and with a load-bearing structure in ash wood for the bodywork, with long and low bonnets and short receding tails like the uncompromised sports cars of the past, and sporty, intimate cockpits with excellent finishes and upholstered with high quality materials.
Morgan has gone almost untouched through decades marked by revolutionary changes in the automotive worlds, remaining faithful to its unique approach, being able to count on a loyal clientele, willing to wait years to secure an example of its very limited production.
The first iconic three-wheeled Morgans, the Runabout of 1910 and the Aero of 1920, were joined in 1936 by the Morgan 4-4, with a four-cylinder engine and four wheels, which from 1950, with the adoption of the more powerful Vanguard engine, evolved in what would become the most classic of the Morgans, the Plus Four, highly successful in competitions and still in production today, albeit with important technical updates.
. The Plus 4 was produced with numerous different powertrains and received some updates over the years, but it remained essentially faithful to the original design for almost seven decades.
This beautiful Plus 4 Sport, produced in 1995, is still extremely faithful to the characteristics of the original model, perpetuating its timeless charm and elegance combined with modern and reliable Rover-derived mechanics and upgraded Sport suspension.
Having traveled just over thirty thousand kilometers since new and having always been maintained with great care and passion, it is in very good condition, with no visible faults and with mechanics in excellent shape.
Extremely elegant in its original Old English White, it's appointed with knock-off wire wheels, leather interior and luggage rack and it is equipped with the lowered Sport suspension.
Morgans enjoy worldwide fame and are always highly coveted by enthusiasts and connoisseurs.
This particular example represents a precious opportunity to own a car of great charm and undoubted historical importance, with reliable and modern mechanics, ready to go and in conditions of absolute efficiency.
