The Appeal
Pretty, planted and potent, the original Audi TT feels like a nailed-on future classic.
This car has the 225bhp 20V BAM 1.8L engine and Quattro drivetrain that really makes the Mk1 TT special. It is a very low mileage car, finished in black with full grey leather interior.
The vendor acquired the car in 2020 having known its history for many years. He has maintained the full service history, including a service in March of this year. Also in 2025 the wheels have been refurbished, LED dashboard display repaired and a new battery fitted. It was serviced in July 2025. We are told the cambelt has been changed.
The signs of use are very minor and do not detract in the photos. The MOT usefully runs to July 2026, with a few areas to note. The vendor points out that his MOT tester said that these are not of concern.
The vendor says:
“I bought this car because I’d always dreamed of owning a soft-top, and it has exceeded all expectations. It drives beautifully — whether you're in the mood for a relaxed cruise or a more spirited drive, it delivers. It’s truly a joy to own.
“There’s very little to fault, and I’m confident the next owner will be thrilled with it. Not only is it great fun to drive, but it’s also a modern classic that’s likely to appreciate in value over time.
It’s a reluctant sale, but I’m now looking for something a bit larger, as the two-seat layout can be a little limiting at times.”
