Opis
Heel & Toe Cars Ltd are delighted to offer this striking 1972 MGB GT Sebring-style race car, finished in classic British Racing Green with period-inspired competition detailing. Registered as UAV 720K, this is a fast, well-sorted and highly usable V8-powered MG that successfully blends classic motorsport character with modern upgrades and genuine road usability.
At its heart is a Rover 3. 9-litre V8 engine paired with a desirable 5-speed gearbox and new rear diff to suit rover v8 ratios providing strong performance, excellent drivability and an unmistakable V8 soundtrack. The car presents superbly with its Sebring wide-body conversion, MGC-style bonnet, Perspex headlamp covers and purposeful stance on 15-inch JBW alloy wheels.
Built with enthusiastic driving in mind, the car benefits from a Safety Devices roll cage, Sparco 3-point harnesses, kill switch and onboard fire extinguisher, making it equally at home on road runs, track days, hill climbs or classic motorsport events.
The suspension and braking systems have been comprehensively upgraded with a Hoyle suspension kit incorporating poly bushes throughout, together with Hoyle four-pot alloy front calipers and vented discs delivering vastly improved handling and stopping power over a standard MGB. Nankang tyres are fitted all round and the car also benefits from practical USB charging sockets for modern convenience.
Recent maintenance includes:
Full service completed
Gearbox oil change plus new mounts
New clutch slave cylinder fitted
Importantly, this MGB GT is both MOT exempt and ULEZ exempt while remaining fully road legal, offering an increasingly rare opportunity to own a classic race-inspired car without the restrictions often associated with dedicated competition vehicles.
Accompanying the car is a good history file documenting previous ownership and maintenance, helping to support its well-cared-for condition and ongoing development.
