1973 Triumph TR6 2. 5 PI Manual / Overdrive. Mimosa Yellow with black leather upholstery, black mohair hood and factory hard top. Supplied new on 1st August 1973 by Botwoods Limited of Ipswich. The TR has been with its last owner for 11 years and during this time has cherished the car and maintained the car with no expense spared, this includes a gearbox rebuild and new clutch, reconditioned metering unit, refurbished distributor, unleaded cylinder head, Bosch fuel pump including loom and relay, new injectors, reconditioned rear differential, new mohair hood, 4 new tyres, stainless steel exhaust, new alternator and starter motor. All of the invoices are on file for this work. The car is also polybushed and has front and rear adjustable Spax suspension and updated springs all round. The paintwork displays a lovely lustre and the bright work still sharp with no signs of pitting. The leather upholstery is in good order and the cockpit is complimented with a wooden sports steering wheel. The hood was replaced and is like new and the desirable hard top a rare addition. On the road the Triumph performs very well indeed. Driving just as you would expect with the amount of work the car has been lavished with. The stainless exhaust emits a wonderful note and the six cylinder engine pulls very well, accompanied by an overdrive gearbox the TR6 is more than capable in modern traffic. The Momo steering wheel completes the look of this 70’s sports car. A genuine U. K right hand drive home market car, this is all recorded on the Heritage certificate that is in the history file along with a large amount of bills, invoices and old mots dating back many years. Although now tax and mot exempt a fresh mot will be applied upon sale for your own peace of mind as well as a 60 point health check by our independent workshop. Absolutely any inspection is welcome.
