The Appeal
While Morgan had managed to carve out an impressive reputation for cars in the early years, it was undeniable that the company's bread was best buttered by their three-wheelers. These little sports cars were where everything at the Morgan enterprise began, but the world had changed post-war, and the market shifted toward practicality and 'real cars'.
As a result, the F-Super was the last of the true Morgan tri-cars built until 2012, and what a swansong it was. Fast, fun, and with easy-to-keep underpinnings, these little three-wheelers have become very desirable classics. Indeed, swathes of kit cars followed in the F-Super's footsteps.
This 1951 example benefits from a painstaking 11-year rebuild completed in 2011, encompassing mechanical, structural, and cosmetic work throughout. Its provenance is known from new, and we understand that the car is running well, ready and waiting for its lucky new keeper.
