Increasingly rare 1960s rear-engined sedan in honest, usable condition
Finnish provenance, sourced via the president of NSU Club Belgium
The vendor rates the mechanical condition as like new
Belgian collection registration with matching serial numbers confirmed
The Appeal
Born in West Germany and perfectly targeting the lower-mid-size sedan segment, the Typ 110's boxy silhouette and lively character were a hot proposition in its era. While it was far from a luxurious machine, it proved nimble and endlessly useable - provided it had a dry road. Produced in relatively modest numbers and rarely encountered today, surviving examples continue to evoke strong emotions in enthusiasts!
This 1966 example comes from the Finnish market - imported by the president of the NSU Club Belgium - and has clearly been well cared for over its impressive sixty-year lifetime. Recent mechanical work has been carried out, and the vendor tells us that the car is ready to drive immediately.
The car has been repainted at some point with a few minor imperfections remaining, and certain trim items would benefit from attention as noted below. It has been garage-stored throughout and driven regularly - and now eagerly awaits its lucky new keeper.image.png2.03 MB
