Purchased from well-known car collector Andy Bruce
Recommissioned in January 2025 to the cost of £4,056
2.0-litre Nord twin-cam reported to produce ~170bhp
Previously registered in the Netherlands, now on UK plates (road tax/MOT exempt)
The Appeal
We don't know about you, but for us, this car conjures up visions of the lightweight, Autodelta-developed competition cars that dominated touring car racing in the early 1970s. Alfa's twin-cam-powered 105 Series cars were practically unbeatable, taking the fight to Mk1 Escorts, 2002 BMWs, and even V8 monsters like the Z28 Camaro.
With their purposeful stance and potent mechanicals wrapped in Bertone's timeless coupé body, these cars occupy a special place in the Alfa Romeo pantheon and are increasingly sought after by collectors and driving enthusiasts alike.
This 1973 left-hand-drive example features a revised 2,000cc engine said to produce around 170bhp, mated to a five-speed manual gearbox. Imported from the Netherlands in February 2022 and now registered on UK plates, it was purchased in August 2025 from well-known car collector Andy Bruce. Prior to that acquisition, it had undergone recommissioning by a specialist in Sussex, with further work carried out in January 2025. Very few miles have been covered since. The vendor informs us that the bodywork presents in very good condition with no known dents or rust, the interior presents well, and all switchgear is in working order. The vendor describes it as a head turner that drives like a go-kart with plenty of power.alfaromeo-gam345j-91.jpg1.03 MB
