The Appeal
The Alfetta GTV is one of the great automotive designs of the late 20th century. Giorgetto Giugiaro's sharp wedge-shaped silhouette housed a choice between two of Giuseppe Busso's most celebrated engines: the 2.5-litre V6 and the 2.0-litre Nord twin-cam. Our UK market 1983 car boasts the latter - the lighter of the pair, which provides a wonderful handling balance paired with the Alfetta's rear-mounted transaxle gearbox.
Our car also comes with a notable family provenance. Purchased nearly new by the seller's father around 1983/84, it remained in his care until his passing in 1994, after which it was sold. The seller's son tracked the car down and brought it back into the family approximately a year and a half ago. It is believed to have been dry stored for much of its life.
The vendor describes the interior as in lovely condition overall, while the exterior presents well for a car of its age with some minor cosmetic blemishes noted. Described by the vendor as really fun to drive and a head-turner, this is an honest GTV with a great family story, ready for its next custodian.image.png1.56 MB
