The Appeal
The Ducati Pantah 500 introduced the belt-driven camshaft design that would become a signature of the brand for decades to come. Designed by the legendary Fabio Taglioni, the Pantah's 90-degree V-twin engine established a blueprint for Ducati's future success and remains highly sought after amongst collectors.
This 1984 Series 1 example appears in smart condition for its age, having covered just 315 kilometres from new and reportedly spending most of its life as a display piece in Rome. As the 2,565th bike built out of a total production run of 3,835 units, it represents a rare opportunity to acquire an essentially time-capsule Pantah with fascinating provenance, including documentation reportedly signed by Taglioni himself.
