The Appeal
The 928 GTS represents the final and most potent evolution of Porsche's front-engined grand tourer. Produced in limited numbers between 1992 and 1995, the GTS boasted a 5.4-litre V8 producing 350hp, wider rear haunches and a level of refinement that cemented the 928's reputation as one of the great GT cars of its era. Examples fitted with the five-speed manual gearbox are particularly prized among enthusiasts and collectors alike.
This 1993 French-market car is finished in Zermatt Silver Metallic over a black leather interior, complete with a sunroof. It has been in the hands of its current owner since October 1998, during which time it has been maintained by a Porsche specialist and stored in a heated garage. Matching numbers have reportedly been confirmed by Porsche France, and invoices documenting maintenance from 1998 onwards accompany the car.
The vendor describes the interior as like new, while the original paintwork presents well with only minor touch-ups and a repainted front bumper. With a contrôle technique valid to January 2028 and no upcoming work required according to the vendor, this long-term-ownership 928 GTS manual is well worth the attention of the discerning Porsche enthusiast.
