The Appeal
The MV Agusta F4 750S is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful motorcycles ever produced. Penned by the legendary Massimo Tamburini and powered by an engine developed in collaboration with Ferrari, it represents a high watermark in motorcycle design and engineering. The original 750 is increasingly sought after by collectors; hand-built in limited numbers, it offers a pedigree that very few motorcycles can match.
This particular example is one of the very first to reach UK shores, ordered by its sole registered keeper at the 1998 motorcycle show and delivered in early 2000. That owner, a well-known motorcycle race support technician who worked alongside the likes of Barry Sheene and Peter Williams, has looked after it with dedication ever since. The bike was run in and shipped to the Isle of Man TT in 2000, where it took part in a parade lap ridden by Bernard Murray, the 1974 Manx GP junior and senior winner. Photographic evidence of this event is included. Despite its proximity to the racing world, it has never been raced.
The vendor states the bike presents in excellent condition throughout, with almost no visible wear even to the original brake discs, adding that the condition generally defies its age. It has been dry stored throughout its life and maintained by respected MV specialists. The vendor notes that all MV factory recalls and updates have been carried out. With an advisory-free MOT until April 2027 and 12,860 miles on the clock, this is a well-preserved, single-ownership F4 750S with notable provenance.
