New genuine gearbox ECU recently fitted at a cost of £1,350
Spanner checked and inspected by Pro Garage in Bristol
Advisory-free MOT valid until May 2027
The Appeal
When the fourth-generation Clio R.S. hit Japan rebadged as the Lutecia, critics held their breath over its shift to a five-door turbo-paddleshift setup. But the limited-run 2013 Cup RS silenced the sceptics. Stripped of excess flab, dropped on lower, stiffened springs, and riding on a race-bred Cup chassis, it was a hyperactive masterpiece of French hot-hatch engineering. The 1.6-litre turbo punched out an eager 200 bhp, while its lightning-fast dual-clutch transmission crisp-shifted down tight backroads. Razor-sharp steering, relentless grip, and an unruly itch for cornering made the Lutecia Cup RS an absolute riot on road and track alike.
Our car has reportedly had just one registered keeper in Japan before being imported and registered on UK plates, and it shows 21,600 miles on the clock, the clocks having been professionally converted to MPH and miles, with supporting paperwork.
This Clio has benefited from a significant recent investment in the form of a new genuine gearbox ECU, addressing a known weak point of the model. It has also been spanner-checked and inspected by the reputable Pro Garage in Bristol, adding further confidence. With an advisory-free MOT valid until May 2027 and no history of total loss or structural issues, this is a well-sorted example ready to enjoy.image.png1.42 MB
