1992 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER CLASSIC 3 DOOR TDI
Fresh in stock from France is this very rare late model 3 door tdi Range Rover Classic.
Those in the know will appreciate that this model was made side by side with the 5 door up until the classic was discontinued in 1994 however in left hand drive diesel format only.
This makes the late model 3 door’s excellent bases for sympathetic restorations or even potential “resto mod’s” as are becoming increasingly popular.
Having been in France since new this is in very solid order throughout requiring two very minor patches of welding (one small plate on the drivers (left side) and a one inch patch in the drivers footwell. The rest of the car is incredibly solid indeed. Chassis is incredibly good due to being in a warm climate as are the rear upper and lower tailgates which do not require replacement as is quite often the case.
It benefits from also having factory air conditioning .
I have just driven this car back from France only today and although a little apprehensive about the journey I can confirm it does drive very well indeed. There is some play in the steering box and the synchro crushes occasionally on the gearbox but aside from that, brakes, drivetrain etc all perform very well.
Having Just arrived the car will be required to be UK registered or in the destination country, I have all the French documentation to enable you to do this .
