The Jaguar E-type cars are divided in to 3 series with series one car starting from 1962 until 1967. These cars are by many regarded as the most beautiful cars in the world. With the Series two cars there where many upgrades. We have the 4, 2l straight six-cylinder engine already since 1965, but also many details such as the tail lights where moved below the bumpers and they are not covered anymore in the front. It is perhaps not until you actually get to drive an e-type that you understand which series is the best. The series 3 came about in 1971 and now we have the silky smooth V12 engine. A wider mouth in the front and a proper grill mesh. The cars produced for America look hideous with huge bumper car bumpers. As with many other European brands during this time.
Exterior: In its original Primrose yellow and with a very nice paintwork. A soft top in very good condition and also a black hardtop. The e-types look fantastic with hardtops. Rolling on chrome wire wheels on these pictures and has the original steel rims. All panels fit very good on this car and it was restored back in the early 90ies.
Interior: This car started its life as a right-hand drive car and was converted in to left hand here in Sweden. The work was done using all original parts and all the right-hand drive parts are still with the car if you would like to change it back. The interior is in very good and original condition. Very nice black leather and black carpets.
Engine: The V12 engine gives a fantastic sound and with the automatic gearbox it wants to get up and go as soon as you touch that gas pedal. With the power steering this makes driving very relaxing and entertaining. Normal maintenance has been done over the years and this Jaguar E-type is showing a good oil pressure.
History: Imported to Sweden from U. K early in its life. Then converted here in Sweden to left hand drive. The last owner had this car since 1999
