RA Classics are pleased to announce for sale this extremely well-presented Lancia Fulvia Lusso HF 1600.
This rare 70’s Italian rallying icon is in fabulous condition and drives very well indeed, has good oil pressure and no unwelcome noises. It is believed only 300-400 were produced in RHD, this car has just received a complete glass out respray in its original iconic Rosso Corsa Red, the tan-leather seats and all the interior trim is in excellent condition. The car has been very well looked after during the previous owners 33-year tenure, protectively stored and only very occasionally used, a large history file comprising of original Fulvia workshop manual, parts manual, receipts, V5 document and old Mots clearly demonstrates the work carried out during its life, this car represents one of the most pristine and original examples available for sale anywhere.
Produced between 1963 and 1976, the Fulvia both established and cemented Lancia as one of the legendary marques in the crucible of rallying; winning the Italian rally championship every year between 1965 and 1973, with the exception of the 1970 championship only. The Fulvia’s enormous success created a vital foundation for Lancia which paved the way for the development of subsequent rallying icons such as the Stratos, the Delta S4 and the 037, and following Lancia’s retirement from Formula One; arguably rescued the manufacturer from abstaining from motorsport entirely.
