46, 450 Miles, Road Tax and M. O. T. Test Exempt. Presently taxed and tested, the M. O. T. Expires on 12/ 03/ 20 with no advisories.
Due to the low mileage and recent respray this Stag is in superb nearly concours condition, ready to show or drive due to the recent engine rebuild. The coachwork is virtually spotless and the interior shows very little wear. The V8 engine starts instantly and is very quiet however the sports exhaust emits a lovely deep burble, unique to these Stags, some under bonnet components have been chromed as part of the said rebuild. The recent 14 inch chrome wire knock off wheels are in lovely condition with recent tyres. We have an owners manual as well as a workshop manual and a modern stereo is installed, the external detachable luggage rack is also included. We also have a large file of paperwork and old M. O. T. certificates.
Most of the Invoices for parts are from Tony Hart and James Paddock including conversion to Electronic Ignition, the Sports Exhaust is a Stainless Steel A Type with Sports Boxes.
This nearly concours Stag has the most desirable manual overdrive transmission that offers the best performance as well as being the most fuel efficient and enjoyable to drive, one also has full control of producing the best noises from the exhaust system. It needs for nothing and is ready to be enjoyed, especially with all three roof combinations. The Stag was one of the best motor cars produced in the 1970’s by British Leyland and the Triumph Motor Company and they benefit from being styled by the famous Italian designer Giovanni Michelotti, owned by a member of the Stag Owners Club which is a must for any owner.
