This Reliant Rebel is a rare beast, It is the estate version and has its original sliding rear windows (most do not have sliding windows!)
It is 1971 and has its original engine which is in good overhauled condition. The chassis has been completely overhauled and has newly (only 2) welded outriggers, no other welding, its been primed and sprayed for chip protection. All brakes have been gone through a year or so ago and all of the running gear, suspension, brakes have been gone through and resprayed in red. The gearbox is present and selects all gears nicely.
We purchased a new second hand passenger door (as its original was rusted locked, but no damage has come to the body, and the original door is still serviceable) we purchased secondhand window frames and all of the new rubbers for windscreen and front door windows.
The photos as you can see are of the body off the chassis, we have now placed the body back onto the chassis, this only takes 3 people, or two strong people.

We have the wheels but they have had tyres removed for cleaning, so the car is on axel stands currently.
The V5c is present.
This little car was originally a porcelain green (very light green) and we have a tin of the original colour, although the vehicle would look nicer in blue.... well we think so.
Sadly, we just have too many project and storage space is now an issue so a couple have to go!
