From this year this Porsche will have these exemptions:
* Road Tax exempt
* MOT exempt
* T-Charge exempt
* Ultra Low Emission Zone exempt Very original and beautiful Series 1 car.
Work carried out in recently:
* Full re-spray a year ago
* New Porsche supplied torque Tube fitted as bearings had broken (around £3500 inc lab – should last another 30 years)
* New electric aerial
* New battery
* New petrol gauge
* New wiper motors
* Replacement electric window motor (driver side)
* Replacement of centre console lid as previous owner had drilled into it!
Work to be done:
* Replace switch to electric mirrors (only drives right-hand mirror at the moment)
* Replace the speaker fader knob with original one with a diagram of a speaker on it
* Battery gauge is temperamental
* Backing to boot carpet has come loose - could be re-lined with original horse hair
* Passenger side lock does not work with the key (only from inside)
* AC needs re-gassing
