1946 Austin 8 AR Saloon with Sliding Sunshine Roof , Charming Post War Austin presented in excellent condition . I have inspected the underside of this Austin 8 and it is in super condition . The body work is gleaming black and requires nothing . The interior is original blue hide which is good condition and shows the charm of its age . The 8 was launched in February 1939 but sadly WW11 saw and end to civilian sales . After the end of WW11 Austin re started production in 1945 with a slightly posher example with chrome headlights , Different steering wheel and overiders etc. as this one is . It starts easily and runs very well maintaining a nice road speed of 40 MPH , Retains excellent oil pressure and shows no signs of overheating . Its very distinctive with its crocodile grill . Comes with V5C , Some expired MOT certificates and original "Austin 8 Service Manual" Delivery and Shipping arranged
