Recently recommissioned, including an engine rebuild and full respray, with a certificate of authenticity from BMW along with extensive history and paperwork, we’re delighted to present this excellent and increasingly rare BMW 2002 Tii for sale.
Starting life in Germany, this fabulous example now resides in the UK with its current owner who has had a money-no-object view with this car. All works were conducted by well-known, leading specialists in 2002s, Jaymic. Having undertaken mechanical and restoration works in 2017/ 8 including a full engine rebuild with all running-in servicing now complete as well as a full respray, it’s ready to enjoy and drive for many more miles.
This is one of the most original 2002s we’ve seen underneath, too. It’s only been driven in warmer climates, kept in an insulated storage and remains preserved. It’s very rare to find one that doesn’t need any welding or structural works, especially in the UK.
Having covered just 31, 000 miles, it’s not just the mechanics and structure that are immaculate. Paintwork-wise, this 2002 retains its original colour of Inca Orange, which was fully resprayed, and works beautifully with its tasteful black interior finish. The original owner has treated the audio system to new front and rear speakers, amplifier and a brand-new head unit, as well as reinstalling the insulation for an amazing sound.
