1957 Chevrolet Bel-Air 2400 Sports Sedan 283 V8 with column change Powerglide Transmission. The subject of a complete frame-off nut and bolt restoration and finished in factory Turquoise and White with matching interior, Chevrolet over-mats and boot liner with period white wall tyres. Custom Autosound AM/ FM Radio with Auxiliary input, with a detailed engine bay and correct red oxide underside.
A simply stunning and outstanding example of American automotive history with just 8000 miles since the completion of its rebuild in the U. S. Only imported late 2017 with one UK registered owner. Comes with new spare wheel and tools and detailed build/ restoration log.
Built in Chevrolets Baltimore plant in May 1957 and first registered to its first owner shortly there after. This remarkable pillar-less sports sedan is offered in outstanding condition throughout, having rarely seen rain and with immaculate interior, superb restored rust-free metalwork and as new underside. Whilst no longer requiring an MOT we will be supplying it with a new 12 months certificate at point of sale - as we do with all of our classics. Road tax is of course free.
