This phase one Renault Laguna is the very rare 2. 0S RTi 16v model of which dvla only show 18 registered on the road. This example has been lovingly cared for and only has 1 former keeper. First keeper a keen follower of motorsport and avid supporter of the Renault Laguna British Touring car Championship (BTCC) team, Mr Reed ordered this 2. 0S RTi 16v example for its mid-range sporting credentials and even kept the original sales brochure. Having made the difficult decision to give up driving on health grounds, the second owner benefited from enjoying a vehicle that had 21 years of devoted care.
The history file includes the original black leather wallet housing the stamped service book as well as all handbooks, guides and sale literature. Purchased new from Supplying dealership Evans Halshaw of Warwick and still wearing original dealer number plate, tax disc holder and rear window sticker. A large history folder contains service and maintenance invoices dating from the first service in 1997 to new dealer supplied exhaust system in 2016, and includes a documented cambelt change at 37, 000miles. The low milllage of 51, 065 miles is fully verified and is backed up by previous mot certificates. Has both original key fobs and even the original blue v5 document.
These rare 2. 0s RTi models are powered by a 'Volvo' 1948cc 16v fuel injected engine that develops 140bhp.
Original paintwork is Brooklands green metallic, as can be seen from the photos the car is in stunning condition and is a true credit to its previous keepers
