This beautiful LHD 1966 Series 1 4. 2 FHC has just been through an extensive restoration by its current owner. Finished in the original Dark Blue with Dark Blue exterior this is a matching numbers car (the original engine block is not fitted but will come with the car). The car is registered as 1966 (due to the original US import date) but is in fact an early S1 4. 2 (1965).
There is an extensive history file and a large number of restoration photographs detailing the work done. The Heritage Certificate, original handbook and certificate of guarantee are also present.
The drivetrain has been completely refurbished. The engine was stripped and assembled by Chesman Motorsport and Klassik Transmissions rebuilt the gearbox. The rear axle was checked and set up by AJS Engineering.
There are too many individual parts to list but the following notable upgrades/ new components have been fitted:
1. Zeus front and rear brake callipers.
2. Cambridge Motor Sport Aluminium Header tank.
3. New Servo and discs.
4. Goodridge stainless steel brake pipes.
5. Polybush front suspension kit.
6. Uprated alternator
7. Hi torque starter motor
8. Classic Fabs stainless steel exhaust.
