With a comprehensive history file and a fully documented cosmetic restoration & mechanical overhaul completed in 2017, this 450 SLC presents and drives superbly. Finished in Astral silver metallic paint (code 935) with contrasting anthracite velour trim & walnut wood veneer centre console. With standard equipment including all electric windows x4, central locking, power steering & ABS. The SLC model was based on a lengthened version of the chassis from the R107 SL. Introduced in 1971 as the replacement to the W111 coupe it continued in production until 1981 when the S Class C126, better known as the SEC model, replaced it. A total number of 62, 888 SLC models were produced, with the 450SLC 4. 5 model numbering just 31739.
