This is a used car on its original engine and gearbox and should be respected as such. Spare engine (77k) and gearbox available (not that it is needed) with recon turbo (10k miles)
Always warmed up to temperature before using its performance and oil changed every year with fully synthetic 15w 50 (Mobil 1 until it was discontinued). 95% of the time it's been ran on Super unleaded 97-99 octane fuel.
You could drive it to any part of the UK with confidence. Always been garaged from the elements, the only time it's sat in the elements has been when I have sent it away for mechanical work and MOTs.
This car has a good number plate, possibly the only Maestro / Montego left in existence that was sold by its supplying dealer. It appears that it lived in Lancashire for 7 years before moving south to Staffordshire then back up as far as Cheshire in the past 20 years.
I have owned this car 15 years so far and have dedicated an incredibly large portion of my time to it. Recently attended 30 years of the Maestro Turbo at Milton Keynes. Small photo in classic car buyer.
No timewasters please.
I am not in a rush to sell, and if it doesn't attain a favourable price i will be more than happy to hold on to it.
