Description
This is probably the most solid 144 I've come accross in many years of clasic Volvo dealing. It's never been welded underneath, and whilst there are a couple of small areas on the body that need attending to it's in incredibly good condition. It'd had one previous owner who had it up until a couple of years ago and has covered 82, 000 miles from new. It drives better than any 140 I've driven before, and goes very well. It's the twin stromberg carb model and is manual but no O/ D. Original handbook/ service book etc are all with it. I've had it for a few months as a back up car to my V70 which was being slightly problematic, but that is now ok so I don't need the 140, and don't want to leave it out over the winter. It's tax exempt and is really solid in all the important places, and even still has it's radio blank in place in the dash!
