Now on display in our showroom, we are delighted to present this Griffith 500 which has been fully rebuilt by ourselves over the past few months. This is a ’99 TVR Griffith 500 that we have known for the past 11 years. The last owner found himself lacking both the time to use it and the place to keep it! Consequently it had deteriorated to the point where we decided that a full on restoration was merited. The car has had a replacement Chassis, Suspension rebuilt with new Dampers, Springs and Bushes. The Engine has been stripped, inspected and ‘top-and-tailed’. The Body was stripped back to bare ‘gel-coat’ before being fully repainted in Polar Silver Metallic. The Seats have been refurbished with replacement Seat Foams, Strapping etc. A full Hood in Blue Mohair has been fitted along with brand-new Carpets, Seatbelts etc.
Registered new in April 1999 and with just four owners from new this car has a Full Service History up until it was laid up in 2013 at 53k miles with fourteen stamps in the service book. Fitted with all of the usual Griffith 500 spec including ‘Estoril’ Alloy Wheels, Alloy Switchgear, Alloy Dash Panels, up-rated CD Headunit, up-rated Speakers, Remote Alarm/ Immobiliser etc.
