We are delighted to be offering this stunning Ford Escort. This is a rare opportunity to purchase as close as you will ever find to a 'new' Mk4 Escort. Totally original and ever had or require any paintwork, you won't find a blister anywhere!
Purchased on 22. 11. 1988 by Mrs Duffin from supplying dealership Taylor's of Southwell with a recorded millage of 8, 732 where she part exchanged in her 1979 Austin Maxi. Purchase price in 1988 was £7, 295.
Mrs Duffin used the Escort very sparingly from purchase until 2000 where she gave up driving and the car was parked in the garage and didn't see daylight til earlier this year, that's at least 19 years untouched!!
Prior to vehicle hibernation, the car was very well maintained with full supplying dealership Taylors of Southwell service history, today still wearing its original front and rear dealer numberplates and tax disc/ holder.
A fantastic opportunity to own what could easily be the lowest mileage Escort estate on the classic car circuit, not to be repeated. You won't find another in this condition.

Due to the amount of time unused in storage we have fully recommised the vehicle, photos below show the condition of the vehicle prior to this and I can confirm there has been no paintwork at all!
Recommissioning work-
Replace cambelt kit
Renew water pump
Strip and rebuild carburettor with new jets/ gaskets
Drain fuel tank and pipes, replace with fresh fuel
Replace x4 tyres and valves
New battery
Drain and renew antifreeze
Overhaul brakes and renew rear wheel cylinders
Renew exhaust system from downpipe including gaskets and rubber hangers
Replace x4 spark plugs
Renew fuel filter
Change oil and filter
12 months mot has been issued without any advisorys
Now fully recommissioned and ready for the new owner to enjoy. Car does come with the original set of Dunlop tyres but sadly these have been change due to age and having flat spots from being stood.
