An original RHD British Market Series 2 Fixed Head Coupe (not the less desirable 2+2), original Carmen Red with Biscuit interior in absolutely beautiful condition.
The series 2 FHC is the rarest of all production e-types. Only 4, 855 S2 FHC's were ever made with many of those for the US market. This car is an original unmodified UK supplied RHD drive example with an excellent history. The car was once owned by England Cricketer Graeme Fowler.
Matching numbers with Jaguar Heritage Certificate. Manual Gearbox with factory fitted Webasto sunroof the car is probably one of the best examples currently for sale on this site. Bought by me from e-type specialist Graham Bull of Camberley Marine in 2012 it has been meticulously looked after with no expense spared. I have two box files full on invoices , with MOT certificates going back decades. It has had two restorations during its life with a full engine out restoration in 2000 (with photographs) and a complete interior re-trim with new leather in 2012.
It sits on the more expensive Stainless Steel Wire wheels (look like chrome but don't rust like chrome), has been regularly serviced and and maintained and will be serviced and have a fresh MOT before it is handed over to the prospective purchaser.
The car drives flawlessly and has been on trips to France without any issues at all.
I am a collector and am selling my cars as I have moved to Yorkshire. The car is kept in perfect condition in a secure professional storage compound in Cambridgeshire, and has been throughout my ownership (over 8 years). It has enjoyed regular usage.
