This handsome TVR Tuscan Mk 1 4. 0 Litre S Targa was registered to its first of only 2 owners on 5 Oct 2002. It was painted in Rosso Pearl when it left the factory .
This colour is now virtually impossible to match as the tint is not only in the base coat but also in the lacquer coat. Your advantage is that, whilst this car was under a car cover, someone reversed gently into it.. He didn’t see he had marked a door so didn’t report that to the fellow RAF officer who owned it. The upshot was that the Insurers authorised a total respray in (easily matched !) Nightfire Red. So any future ” dings” won’t be a Nightmare !
The car’s interior is trimmed throughout in Black and Red Half Hide . The perforated sections are in Red (VO539) . All Lamonta trimmed panels are in red (611/ 109) - to match the Carpeting. Now that is a small issue because the carpet has faded. We have not renewed this as the next owner may wish to change the interior trim colourways . And so the car is offered at a discounted price !
This, despite the fact that the car is a factory built Tuscan 4. 0 “S” model with 18” Spider alloys, 322 mm drilled front Brake discs , Close Ratio Gearbox, Gas Discharge Main Beam Lights, Air Conditioning, and the “S” Spec Aero equipment (Front Splitter and Rear Spoiler).
The car does of course also boast the Tuscan 4. 0 Litre “S” Spec engine. This develops 390 bhp and produces 310 ft lbs of torque at 5250 rpm, a 0-60 mph time of 3. 9 secs and a top speed in excess of 170 mph. This engine is equipped with a special large bore exhaust system, and note the large oval tailtrims - built by AMG’s supplier in the former East Germany and providing a unique sound…..!
And one more upgrade is worthy of mention. The car has a full set of Nitron shock absorbers fitted with Suplex springs. The car runs on Anthracite Alloys and it will be supplied with 4 Brand New Tyres. There is a Union Jack TVR Badge on the car’s nose!
On top of this, the car has the full complement of Leven alloy componentry including the polished aluminium petrol cap, oil filler cap. PAS cap , coolant water cap - plus the Tuscan - with Red “S” - Kickplate set.
So this car ticks all the boxes. It goes Beautifully, it looks Beautiful, and it sounds Beautiful. And all this is offered at a lower price than normal as it is not cosmetically prepared to Str8six’s usual standard.
And why did the second owner decide to relinquish his Pride and Joy ? Well, 2019 saw him acquire a new wife, a new small person, a new home and now he’s working on a new career!!
FN52 XLR will be supplied with most of Str8six's renowned "All the 12’s” handover specification. This will include a full 12K service (incl. valve clearances), 12 mths MOT. a 12 volt trickle charger and an Anderson Jump Start lead. However, our usual 12 months Tax and 12 months Full Wear and Tear warranty, (parts and labour) will be reduced to 6 months, and we will provide 6 not 12 months road tax, to enable a more affordable retail price.
We do not consider the shorter warranty to be a cause for concern, given the comprehensive service record, supported by a fully stamped service document and a bulky provenance file. The service record is listed below:
