This glamorous example was delivered new by Yorkstar Motors, 88 William Street Sydney on the 18th of September 1970 and is presented here in Dark Blue paintwork with complimentary beige trim. Arguably one of the prettiest coupe models Mercedes Benz have ever made and together with the rare 3. 5 Litre V8 engine option, a very desirable classic to own.
The original handbook comes with the car together with the service book attesting to some of it's early service history.
Powered by the 3. 5 Litre V8 engine, it produced when new 173. 5Kw and 314Nm of power and torque delivered via a 4 speed automatic transmission. Performance was excellent in 1970 boasting 0-100kph in 9. 3 secs and a top near 205kph and is still very adequate for a classic car today. Altogether, a very classy and glamorous classic car.
