Description

This MG J2 has not been on road since the Suez crisis in the 1950's. It is a known car and is registered with the Triple MMM Register as car number 3254. It comes with some factory history, and both buff and V5C log books.

The chassis frame has been checked for alignment, cleaned and painted, the rear axle has been fully rebuilt with new bearings, half-shafts and splined hubs.

The original Carbodies body tub has been totally rebuilt, the chassis frame has been fitted with all new springs and trunnions, also rear shockers and battery tray.

The front axle has been straightened and all stub axles and drop links have been crack tested, new king pins have been fitted.

There are many thousands of pounds of new or reconditioned parts that go with the car, including a fully rebuilt gearbox and new cylinder head complete with valves, for a full written list of the parts do please make contact, and yes it has a rad shell, bonnet etc.

The new owner will have the choice of finishing the car off to what ever spec they so wish, J2, J3 etc.

There is no dashboard or instruments with the car, but these are available from pre. war MG Specialists.
