I am selling my 2001 (52 reg) Ford Fiesta Mark 5 Zetec-s, this model is in its youth of becoming a classic and it is a very tidy example in my opinion. I have owned the car for a few months with work required to get it through its MOT.
The good bits about the car are:
12 Months MOT
Full Service history at 5, 000 mile intervals
Completely standard with no modifications
No welding repairs done at all
Brand New rear slave cylinders
Brand new rear wheel bearings
Brand new brake hoses all round
Extra set of wheels, spare heated leather seats
The bad bits about the car are:
Nearside rear arch rust damage, offside rear arch rust patch less than 3” in size, as well as a bubbling in the bottom right corner of the driver's door.
The door cards are not damaged, but appears they were removed and put back on by someone who couldn’t do it properly poppers were missing and the card blocks the door from opening, now resolved.
Initially I intended to keep the car, and had that been the case I would have resolved the bodywork issues. However now I am selling I wouldn’t want a potential buyer to have issues into the winter with repairs and I think the right buyer would prefer it all untouched. Included in the sale are compatible black leather heated seats from a Street KA, I opted not to fit them as you need to change the loom for the heated seats and make the rest of the interior odd.
A set of black steelies all with decent tyre tread. The alloys on the car are a full set of budget racing tyres but two are below the legal limit on tread. I do think both sets do look good on the car but am leaving the option to the buyer. Spare front wiper arms and blades from Ford, spare mirror plastics (my intention was to see how it looked all black they are currently green). Spare front left caliper, spare brake pads and discs for the front.
