1989 Volkswagen Golf 1. 8 Clipper Cabriolet. Paprika Red with grey cloth upholstery and a grey hood. Beautiful car that has had 1 lady owner and just 50, 900 miles. The car was supplied new by Colindale and still has its original dealer number plates and rear window sticker. The Clipper was the equivalent of the GTi without the fuel injection. In 1988 Moulded bumpers, sill trims and side skirts were fitted as part of the 'Clipper' kit to make the old MkI look a little more MkII-like. The Golf drives nicely and immediately transports you straight back to the eighties, all I was missing was my mullet. The bodywork is very good and the interior still lovely, the roof still looks like new. The engine bay is tidy and the car has an MOT until June 2021 with no advisories.
