For sale Jaguar E-type Series III Roadster V12 in the colour dark blue with a beautiful dark brown leather interior. This E-type V12 was built on April 5, 1972 and shipped to America on May 1. A Heritage certificate is available in our sales folder. In 2008 this E-type was imported in the Netherlands and provided with a Dutch registration.
The current owner bought the roadster in 2016 and in 2019 the body was completely repainted, this has been done to a very high standard. Photos and bills are available. In 2020, this E-type has been technically fully checked by Jaguar specialist Real Car Restorations in Ochten, invoices are available. The rear axle has also been adjusted to a longer transmission, so that the engine makes fewer revolutions when you drive it on the highway. This E-type drives very well and has a fantastic appearance.
The following options are fitted: chrome 15 inch wire wheels, chrome wing nuts, left side mirror, leather upholstery, leather hood cover, power steering and air conditioning.
The E-type Series III was the successor of the E-type Series II and is the last model of the E-type series built between 1971 and 1975. All Series III models were equipped with a 5. 343 liter V12 engine. In total, 7. 990 units were built in the Roadster (convertible) version, new price in 1973 was fl. 40. 100 (Gulden)
