Really good examples of this first generation Boxster S are a pleasure to offer and to own.
The problem? Few exist that we want to put our name on. This one has the right ingredients for us and therefore, should offer the right ingredients for you too. A good one will prove the best buy, in the long run, the best fun, the best experience and something special to be proud of, irrespective of the size of the ask.
You get a wonderfully balanced chassis, with great performance from a low mounted flat-six normally aspirated engine. Plenty of luggage space, great build quality and the option to select sky or snug within 20 seconds.
This Arctic silver metallic 986 has some extra special options too which make it extremely rare. Of the hundreds of Boxsters we have handled, this is one of very, very few with the Sport Design package. The inside features some unique touches that mean you are unlikely to see another the same.......
* Black leather Sport Seats.
* Leather handbrake and gearshift levers, door handles, steering wheel airbag cover, roll bar trim, centre console cover and upper part of the instrument binnacle.
* There is a special black textured finish to the sides of the centre console, dashboard and door panels.
* A special 'Metal Grey' painted finish to several interior trim parts including the centre console, door trims etc.
* 3-spoke leather steering wheel.
* Additionally, air conditioning and rear ParkAssist.
* PLUS Turbo style 18" alloys.
It has updated light lenses at the front and rear (which are expensive) and an extensive service record.
This Boxster is immaculate, not just on top, but everywhere you look. Having been supplied in July 2000 to C16 UK spec, but delivered to the Channel Islands, it would have little use there and careful enthusiast use since. We have been over, under and front to back on the car. We're more than happy to share our findings and can tell you all about the technical bits. Additionally, we will carry out a major service, fresh MOT and many other good things (condensers, air-con, tyres etc ), covering the many things often overlooked and left for the next owner to deal with.
