1963 Triumph Vitesse 1600. Laurel Green with white stripes and cream upholstery and wooden door cappings. A very early car that still retains its original registration number and original service and handbooks. The registration number is transferable and valuable but we like to see them left on to keep the car as original as possible. The Vitesse is almost as it left the factory with genuine upholstery and period spotlights, the only upgrades are a set of Minilite style wheels with radial tyres and a Nardi wood rim steering wheel. The previous owner had the Vitesse for six years and it is a car that has definitely been used and enjoyed as it was intended to be. Complete with a large history file of bills, invoices and old mot’s detailing much work carried out over the years these also seem to back up the mileage of 89000 being correct and only five previous owners on the V5. The car starts on the button and runs and drives very well and is ready to use. The car is most certainly not a trailer queen or show winner but a very genuine honest car that can be enjoyed and improved over time if you so wished. The best Vitesse’s now demand prices over £12000 so we see this car as a great starter classic that looks good value for money and although now tax and mot exempt it has an mot until August 2021.
