1980 Triumph TR8 convertible imported from California in January 2021, this car is a factory build TR8 and has air conditioning (untested, bound to need gas etc.), power steering and is fuel injected, 5 speed transmission and factory alloy wheels, has catalytic converters still fitted also, showing (an un-warrantied) 51119 miles.
The car runs and drives very well and is very smooth, engine, gearbox and axle are all good. Car passed mot February 2021.
We have fitted various new parts to this car since arrival in UK including new battery, new fuel pump, Rear brake cylinders, oil/ filter, plugs, leads, coolant flush and new water pump, stainless exhaust back boxes and general service items as required.
The car has a rust hole on front panel by RH front wing, other than that totally rust free.
Trim is ok, hood is trash.
Whilst car has a fresh mot and runs and drives well it is being sold for restoration due to faded original paint, ripped hood etc.
A great opportunity to acquire a genuine Triumph TR8 convertible.
