One that needs to be seen to be believed, this special factory order has enjoyed the most charmed life possible. Purchased new by a businessman who used it infrequently and only in good weather, this car had only covered 12, 000 miles when we purchased directly from the owner in 2015. Highly equipped with heated seats, heated screen, CATS suspension, upgraded wheels and cruise control it was specified in Aquamarine with Ivory leather which is an awesome combination. For the second owner, this Jaguar has been a hobby passion with many more hours spent detailing it than driving- just 1, 000 more on the clock bringing the present total to 13, 000 miles from new. Even the underside of this vehicle is truly amazing as the photographs attest. The lines of the XK8 were clearly influenced by the E type, and this more modern incarnation is becoming classic in itself- in common with the E type, the launch design will undoubtably be judged as the purest. Despite such little use, the timing tensioners were upgraded with proper factory parts by a main dealer as Jaguar recommended and the £1, 700 invoice is with the history file. The bodywork is original and is still pristine, the (extra cost) classic leather still feels new as does all the switchgear, veneers, trim etc. A tremendous opportunity to acquire a fettled, little used Jaguar sports car in concours condition with a valuable and distinctive private registration also negotiable.
