1990 Mini ERA Turbo in British Racing Green. These ERA minis are just fantastic and look super chunky and very special. It is a very rare site on the roads today and I can’t remember the last time I saw one. This example is number 337 of 436 ever produced and has covered just 21000 miles in the last 31 years. It covered most of this mileage in Japan and was imported back to the UK in 2014. I sold it back in 2016 to a mini collector and it has been garaged ever since and only used when the sun shines. Being a Japanese spec ERA it also has air conditioning which I used today when out for a run and it works really well. On the road the 94 BHP feels great but the main improvement over a standard mini is the torque, refinement and comfort. The seats are fantastic and also slide back too far for me which is very rare in a mini. If you are tall this is the car for you. The comfort and low cabin noise makes this mini very good on a long trip. The engine feels very different to a normal A series and revs more freely. The cornering ability and brakes are also improved. It feels very special to be in and is a collectable and rare car. The underside is immaculate and all original due to it living in a hot climate for the first 24 years and then leading a pampered life ever since. I have a nice history file for the mini and the number plate is included.
