Recipient of a full & thorough restoration; this car is in close to concours condition. The current owner supplied us with the following information:
"I purchased the Triumph Stag off an engineer based in Cheshire who carried out most of the body work and running gear !
Please find below a list of improvements I have made whilst the car has been with me approximately 5 years!
1 Kenwood electric fan with adjustable thermostat,
2 Aluminium 4 stack radiator
3 Header tank with audible low level sensor
4 Twin down draft Webber Carb supplied by Stag Webber, with air box and filter
5 Electronic ignition , distributor cap, leads , coil and plugs,
6 new battery
7 5 x chrome wire wheels , originals boxed and in great condition should the new owner want to use these,
8 Jaguar 4 speed auto gear box fitted , lowers engine revs. And much better fuel economy ! at 70 MPH 2500 revs, very smooth through the gears !
9 Moto Lita Steering wheel and Boss fitted to match the wood dash !
10- All new beige interior fitted by Aldridge Trimmers
11 New Black Mohair Hood again fitted be Aldridge Trimmers
12 Heavy duty wind break supplied by Rimmers
13 New Fuel pump
14 electric retracting arial
15 Replaced Chrome locking petrol cap
16 New Boot Rack
17 Tow bar fitted but never used !
18 Original Lucas front spot lights
19 Original BL Mud flaps fitted
20 New Fuel sender fitted
21 some running spares to go with the car
22 The car come with a full service history and most parts purchase history too !
Engine has been recently professionally tuned ! Runs on Unleaded fuel, shows the oil pressure at 80 psi when cold down to 50 psi when hot !

Having inspected the car personally on the day we photographed it & driven it I can confirm it drives beautifully & is just as good underneath as it is on top. All the necessary modifiactions needed to make these cars reliable have been done & the car is now a pleasure to drive. Perfection needs few words!!!
