Presented in excellent mechanical condition and with genuine low mileage, this purist's favourite would make a fantastic addition to any collection of performance cars. Specced from factory with the M030 suspension, but since given a KW3 Club Sport upgrade (the original Koni M030 components have been restored and will be supplied in the sale). It was also delivered with the L220 limited-slip differential and 'Cup 1' alloy wheels. A lightened flywheel has also been fitted.
The interior features the sought-after hard-shell Recaro bucket seats, rear seat delete option, and has been specified without a stereo, sunroof or extending rear parcel shelf with lightness in mind. Accompanying the vehicle are the original owner's manual, service book, sales brochures and build sheet, along with a raft of maintenance invoices.
The car has only three owners from new. The first owner – who kept the car from 1993 until 2015 – accidentally re-registered the car in his own name when he moved house, so there are three previous keepers showing rather than the actual two. The car has been maintained by a combination of marque main dealers and specialists, as per the service schedule and the most recent scheduled maintenance was undertaken in April 2021 at 45, 631 miles. At previous recent services, timing belts and pulley wheels have been fitted, along with a new clutch and slave cylinder. The original exhaust has been cleaned and re-fitted. The most recent MOT test was on 18 December 2020 at 45, 384 miles, which was a first-time pass with no advisories or defects.
