Triumph tr65 thunderbird 650, blue to black, 1983. just passed mot june 2022.
16, 800 miles. Ive owned it for 4 years.
matching numbers. Quite a rare model. Short stroke 650 gives it a modern feel.
just had the top end refurbished with pistons and first oversize rebore, new valves and guides, new mushroom valve adjusters, all professionally fitted.
all reciepts. Runs very well, oil tight.
mikuni carb is a real improvement, with pazon ignition its any easy starter.
original amal carb and manifold included.
2 into 1 siamese exhaust similar to original
good tyres. Rims original some pitting but not bad.
lacquer on the top of the petrol tank has faded but its original, picture doesnt show it very well.
good battery
pampered machine just dont get time to use it.
this bike was featured in a classic magazine that is included as is a genuine worshop manual.
