Manufactured 18/ 11/ 1952 and exported to California.
This MG has been barn stored for many years.
It comes with a Californian registration document, showing it was imported into the UK in January 2020 and NOVA Application Reference Number, ready for registration with DVLA.
The engine is free and it looks to be a very solid and original example, with the exemption of the upgraded TD3 engine that has been fitted at a later date.
On close inspection, the MG looks to have had no welding and doesn't seem to be requiring any.
The vehicle is still presenting its factory body type and body number plate, car and engine number plate and octagonal engine stamp.
To a competent vehicle restorer, this vehicle looks to present a very simple restoration.
Front bumper is present and looks to be new (in bag).
