Daimler Super V8 LWB. This lovely 1998 car has every conceivable extra and is in super condition for the year. Finished in Sapphire Blue metallic with Ivory Hide interior, walnut finishings and rear picnic tables, rear sun blinds, heated seats front and back, front ‘memory’ seats (with fore and aft control for adjusting passenger seat from rear), full sound system with multi stack CD player. This model has the ‘J Gate’ semi automatic transmission with cruise control and sport mode (which alters the gear change points and firms up the electronically controlled ‘adaptive suspension’), power fold door mirrors, auto sensing lights, auto tinting rear view mirror, lambs wool thick pile over carpets protecting the original carpets from new, paintwork ‘Dynaglaze’ protected when new. All original hand book pack, original tool packs (in boot and under bonnet). The significant file of ‘quality’ service history (including original purchase invoice for £65k) shows that this car has been cared for during it’s life and is, in all probability, in better condition than many others with lower mileage (140k). Although there are several company name changes in the registration document, the service history indicates that the original owner owned the car until 2015 (with only two subsequent owners until I bought it) which probably explains its well pampered condition. Recent; new matching tyres, new heavy duty battery, intermediate service including oil & filter. New MOT to 07/ 07/ 2022 with no advisories. The engine is dry, smooth and powerful. The gearbox changes with silky smoothness. The wheel arches have been rust treated and under-sealed. Any work needed has been taken care of. Everything works as intended. Two sets of keys. A very usable and appreciating classic to use and enjoy. An absolute luxury to drive. Any inspection invited.
