The mechanical side of the car is also very special with Skiptune Performance Engineering 1860cc engine. It has been bored and balanced. Stage 2 fast road ported and gas flowed cylinder head. KC 715 high lift Kent cam shaft. Electronic adjustable distributor. Twin SU carburettors. Electronic fuel pump with pressure regulator. Stainless steel full flow sports exhaust system. K & N air filters. Twin electric cooling fans. The car also has a full synchromesh gearbox with overdrive. Parabolic rear springs and fully adjustable shock absorbers all round. The brakes have also been upgraded with TRW front discs and pads, stainless steel braided brake hoses and a remote brake servo.
