1965 Jaguar E Type Series 1 4. 2 Manual FHC , Original UK example Registered to "Willows and Willows LTD" on the 17th of March 1965 , Haywards Heath , Sussex . Information taken from the original Green log book supplied with the E Type .
A Jaguar Daimler Heritage Certificate confirms the date of manufacture to be 1/ 3/ 1965 ,
Chassis number 1E 20353 ,
Engine number 7E 3061-9 .
The numbers match the current V5C and the vehicle . Colour noted as Cream , Interior colour noted as black . Distributor " Henlys Limited , London" . Date of dispatch 12 March 1965 . Sold by ourselves in December 2005 to its former keeper at a mileage of 61, 834 miles . A further c15, 000 miles have been covered since December 2015 . Records show in 1999 the E Type 4. 2 FHC underwent an extensive mechanical overhaul by "Don Law" Jaguar specialists . The former keeper has maintained the E Type superbly and a meticulous record of its maintenance has been recorded in his ownership along with relevant invoicing being retained . The total ownership recorded is 4 owners . Today this Series 1 4. 2 Manual E type Coupe presents very well and I must say is extremely original . I have covered around 50 miles in the car and it maintains excellent oil pressure and shows no signs of overheating when being driven or when standing . The gear box operation is good and the brakes efficient .
