The pictures are of my UK registered car project R5 Gordini Turbo which was started some years ago but but hasn't been finished. I have too much on and too many in the garage. So I am putting her up for sale to see who is keen to finish her. She has been resprayed and has a new interior and has had plenty of work on the chassis.
The downside is that whilst I did get her through an MOT a few years ignition unit is faulty on vacuum as is the boost electrics causing cutting out and misfire. The clutch is also slipping and turbo wastegate arm bush in the turbo housing is worn. Ultimately this should be a pretty straightforward restoration with a huge amount of the hard work already done.
Included in the photos are the original Bristol Motors invoice and Autolease documentation (returning car a Cortina!) and delivery sheet. Extras were metallic paint, sunroof and radio cassette - all still present!
This wonderful classic will be worth persevering with and it is hard to see it won't carry on rising in value given the scarcity of anything original and right hand drive.
