A very straight and completely original X306 XJR6 which had a cossetted life when new in the hands of corporate accountants KPMG. The bodywork is sound with all original panels, though the lacquer is lifting a little on the wing and door tops. The bonnet, roof and boot lid were repainted six years ago, so the car presents well.
It has covered 145, 000 miles, and starts instantly and runs. It is not currently driveable because it will not accelerate above tickover, almost certainly due to a seized butterfly valve in the throttle body. When last driven the autobox, axle, brakes etc all work as they should, in fact everything on the car works with no obvious faults.
During the past six years it has had a new condenser (so the aircon works perfectly), new stainless exhaust, headlining, battery, discs, alternator, water pump, etc. It has been regularly maintained and receipts are available for all of the above.
The interior is in very good condition, and the engine bay is clean and tidy, with no fluid leaks. The MOT expired in January, so it has not been used on the road since then, though it has been started regularly and driven (slowly!) backwards and forwards to keep the brakes free. I have not fixed the throttle problem because I am in the process of moving, and can only keep a small car at my new property. It will need to be trailered away.
